El Cajon church of Christ

Welcome to the El Cajon church of Christ! The El Cajon church of Christ is a group of Christians who have dedicated themselves to serving God. We are a congregation with the following beliefs:

1. JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD.
“And after being baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.’” Matthew 3:16-17

2. BELIEF IN THE GOSPEL OF JESUS, RESULTING IN BAPTISM, IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS SALVATION.
“He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.” Mark 16:16-17

3. THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” II Timothy 3:16-17

4. EVERYTHING WE BELIEVE, TEACH, AND LIVE SHOULD BE BASED ON THE TWO GREAT COMMANDMENTS.
“And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37-39

5. WE WILL HAVE A HOME IN HEAVEN WHEN WE DIE.
“And this is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.” I John 2:25
